About Kalkan
Kalkan has the perfect ingredients for a fabulous holiday.
It is widely regarded as the “Diamond” of the Turkish Mediterranean and is an upscale resort with a pretty harbour and an array of high quality roof top restaurants, bars and shops.
Getting to Kalkan
The drive from Dalaman Airport is approximately 1.5 hours or 3 hours from Antalya. There are many easy transfer options at competitive prices and more information can be provided on request. Alternatively you may wish to hire a car from the airport and take a drive yourself.
The town is set on a hillside and almost feels like an amphitheater around the stunning bay. The pretty streets in the old town area are cobbled and full of character and charm. It can be hilly so it is best to wear sensible shoes! Taxis are plentiful and pretty cheap.
Market day is a Thursday where you can browse the many stalls selling food, clothing, gifts etc and have fun bartering with the sellers.
